There are different types of that can be applied depending on the condition that your body is in or the amount of pain you might be going through, and each session can be tethered to meet specific needs to have a more fulfilling experience. For somebody who is just starting, I would recommend an hour session to begin with as a measure of response to your body then adjust accordingly as you move on. It should not come as a surprise but your body may react differently and get a little sensitive to some techniques, and you may end up adjusting your session to just half an hour whereas someone else may require more time of up to one and a half hours or more.
Anybody of any given age can rip the benefits of a good massage offered by a qualified masseuse. I would like to encourage everyone to add it to their weekly routine but if not possible to at least try once every two weeks.
